Abstract
Towards the end of the 20th Century, a new era has started for humanity with the intensive use of technology. It leaked into homes, after entering the industrial and business world. Schools and educational life have become more technology-focused and as a result, pedagogy had to adapt itself not only to the devices but also to the philosophy and understanding of it. Even though we have just passed the first two decades of the 21st Century, we can easily feel the great change in our classrooms and we feel ourselves obliged to follow the recent trends as educators. Some innovative programs and their applications like STEM and MAKER seem very popular in many countries. Educational approaches are changing and teachers are trying to catch up with those changes. In this presentation, the author will share an international technology-focused project which was designed to bring together teachers and students of the 21st Century living in different parts of the world.
